Is Node.js fast enough for our product?

For the vast majority of web and mobile back ends, yes. It handles many concurrent requests efficiently. For CPU-heavy tasks, we may use a more suitable language for that part.

Which databases do you use?

PostgreSQL is our default. We also use caches, queues and streaming platforms like Kafka where they add value.
